Warning from Entrecard

I had been away from blogging for quite some time. I just noticed that my last post here was more than 100 days ago. My last post was published on July 30, 2009. I was attending a part-time course for about two months and had very little time to look into anything else. My plate was full with my full time work, part time course and family. So, I was not surprised when I received a warning from Entrecard.
Entrecard warned me to update my blog to avoid deletion. So, this update is in a way prompted by them. But, with the current work load, I am not sure I will be updating my blog regularly. I am also going on a long holiday in December and won't be back until Christmas.
Entrecard needs lot of effort and it looks like I am not up to it at this stage. I do not want to lose my Entrecard account before consuming all my hard earned points there. So, probably, I will be sending my points lavishly on advertising. Then, most likely, I will leave my Entrecard account to die unless something changes drastically over the next couple of months.

ah, they call your attention with that? i got to check my other site and update it asap.
Entrecard does take a lot of work to keep up with. One has to kind of on top of it at least every couple of days or everything gets backed up. I'm not sure what the solution is, but I think Entrecard could or should come up with some new way of saying " hey I'm sticking around, but I'm on a little vacation." jj
Hey, how about an "Entrecard Kennel" sort of like a dog kennel but where someone keeps your account alive by making 300 drops and a pre-arranged post on your behalf once per week.

@ ceblogger: Yes, I think they remind us if we don't post for three continuous months.
@ JJ: You are right. But, I can understand that Entrecard wants active bloggers. Active bloggers keep the system going. So, nothing wrong with that. Its true that I am finding it difficult to keep the blog and Entrecard account alive.
@ EzeeCash: I am not desparate to keep the account live. So, I won't be paying someone to drop on my behalf. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion.

I thought they just deleted blogs. Lucky you got a warning. After all, those of us who visit and drop get frustrated at old outdated blogs.

Thanks for your comments. They gave me a warning. I am not sure about others. I agree with you that it frustrating to see the same old stuff day in and day out. Unfortunately, I am unable to update my blogs due to work and personal commitment. Hope I can come back soon.
When I don't have a lot of time I can add some videos or favorite photos and that will keep your account active. Doesn't take long.
I know how you feel though as I am working full time and doing a part time course too and time is precious.

Wow, I didn't know EC had such a rule. I thought I'd been slacking off with my blogs, but it seems I've been pretty good. :) This is good to know though.
