Can you make $200,000 a month?

Wednesday, November 28, 2007

The posts that create lot of buzz revolve around the earnings report of bloggers. We had seen how John Chow made lot of traffic with his monthly earnings report. Here is another earnings report that will dumbfound you.

UberAffiliate makes $200,000
Who made $200,000?
Paul Bourque from UberAffiliate.com has posted his earnings from Azoogle Ads for the last 30 days (October 20th to November 20th). Believe it or not, his screenshot shows an earning of $200,375.05 for the abovementioned period. John Chow wrote a post on this and the post drew lot of negative comments on the earnings report. It seems like many do not want to believe the report. The disbelief has something to do with Paul’s earlier action to Photoshop his Feedburner chicklet to show 87,864 readers on his blog.

Did he really make $200,000?
In a later post, Paul came back to state that he has spent as much as $118,747.09 on his Adwords campaign for the same period. So, he made it clear that $200k is not his profit, rather earnings. That should silence the critics a bit.

It does not matter whether you believe it or not, just take the positive from this report. Be inspired that a blogger can bag such huge amount. If he can do, you can do it too. Not today, not tomorrow but may be in the near future.

How much do you earn every month?

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is required to get set up? I'm assuming having a
blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I'm not very web smart so I'm not 100% positive. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
