Blog Review: The Running Weblog

+++++ +++++
Blog Title: The Running WeblogBlog url: http://www.runweb.org/
A professional looking blog with a cool template. I am quite impressed with the site at the first glance. The site has limited advertisement that blends in nicely with the rest of the content.
This is fairly a new blog, active only since September 2007. The updates are regular. The site concentrates mainly on topics related to webmasters. I found the post Understanding Google Pagerank in Easy Way really useful and new piece of information to me. Take your time to browse through this blog and you will find more useful information.
I notice that there are no pictures in either the posting or the side bars. Adding some pictures to the blog would help to break the monotony and add some spice to the look.
Overall, it is a good looking blog and keep watching as this blog grows.

Hi Armaan,
Thanks for giving me the feedback. I wish you all the best.
welcome bro
do u use www.sponsoredreviews.com
if yes its good if not try it now
Hi Armaan,
Thanks. My blog was rejected earlier by SponsoredReviews. I made the mistake of submitting it too early, when I did not have enough traffic to support my application. I understand that SponsoredReviews will review the application again only after three months time.
Hello admin...have posted a similar request on another post.
Kindly review my blog Tech Span

As far as your blog is concerned, the content is quite good but as a viewer i feel you could well tone down your presentation a bit...wat say??
Hi Ryan,
I will add your blog to the review queue. It might take sometime. Hope you don't mind.
Thanks for your feedback on my blog. Can you explain a bit more? I am not sure what you are referring to by toning down the presentation. I value your feedback and hope you can elaborate.
Hi Admin.
Thanx for adding my blog to the review list...
Well what i meant by toning down was that you could give your blog a non flashy look..the right column seems too cluttered with flashy ads...though i must admit u have made optimum use of the space..
u could go in 4 some textual ads instead..but maybe dat's my personal view..
neverthless the content is gr8..grammatically perfect..& i hav added a link to your blog on mine...now its ur turn..
Eagerly waiting 4 the review too!!
Hi Ryan,
Thanks for your useful feedback. I understand that the image ads may get a bit flashy sometimes. I am not using text-ads for the simple fact that they don't get any clicks. Atleast the image ads have some returns based on CPM. Anyway, I will try to see how to make it less distracting.
I appreciate your feedback.
Hello Admin...i understand ur predicament..i face the same...
neways...can u kindly share how u've opted for these image based ads...the websites & all
Hi Ryan,
Thanks for your understanding.
The six smaller ads (125x125 size) are referral programs. The bigger rectangle ads (336x280) are image ads from Google AdSense. I have two ads from AdBrite too, that may display both image and text ads. The last ad is from AuctionAds, which I am thinking of removing soon.
I noted that you are using AdSense on your blog. For a start, you can configure your AdSense ads to just display image ads. If you have any other queries, I will be happy to guide you. Thanks.
