Google Page Rank Update: PR2 to PR4
Sunday, January 13, 2008
I am glad to inform you that this blog has moved up the ladder in the recent Google Page Rank update. Yes, the Page Rank of this blog has gone up from PR2 to PR4.
Here is the proof, thanks to PRchecker.info:
While the page rank of one of my other blogs went up from PR2 to PR3, the page rank of my second blog went down from PR2 to PR0. A new blog I launched last month is also given a Page Rank of 2. This blog has less than ten posts so far. Surprising one! To be honest, I still can not figure out the intricacies of the Google's Ranking system.
How about your blog? Did you notice any change in your Page Rank by Google?

Hi Ryan,
Great to know that you have got PR2. I too have slowed down in posting my discussions. The full-time job is much more demanding. Thanks.
I hope this blog has the "nofollow" attribute deleted for comments to encourage visitors to comment. See Improve link popularity and PageRank by removing "nofollow" attribute for comments.
Regarding this post, my blog Blogger for Dummies have consistently been ranked 6, but Blogger Tips and Tricks which is a high traffic and high interactivity plus lots of inbound links was only ranked 5, went down to 4, asked for review for PageRank, downgraded further to 3, then back to 4. Not only that, a few times I saw the PageRank went up to as high as 7 to an unbelievable 9, and on the same day, fell back to 4. I have even taken screenshots to prove it. How do you explain that? Beats me.

Hi Lordvader,
Everyone just starts with a zero pagerank. So, don't worry. You will get ranked by Google soon. Just concentrate on posting. Thanks.
I noticed a change from PR 3 to PR 2 on one of my main blogs. I hope next PR update, it goes up. Hopefully not down :(
Hi Genesis Bible,
